Teaching
At the program’s core is an educational initiative that embeds short modules on the ethical and social implications of computing technologies directly into a diverse range of courses across Harvard’s Computer Science curriculum.

Engagement
We regularly engage with computer science programs at other universities, as well as multi-university networks, so that CS students outside of Harvard can also benefit from our approach and the educational resources we develop.
One recent collaboration
Research
Our team conducts original research that informs our educational work, with members working on ethical issues regarding algorithmic fairness, AI generated art, autonomous vehicles, big tech regulation, online content moderation, and trust in AI (among others).
